Makeup by The Girl... That's me!

Well, here I go starting something once again, that I didn't finish last time...

This is, hopefully, my Blog... Those of you who know me, understand that I truly can hold the title: "Jack of All Trades"!

Teaching, Sign Language Interpreting, Painting, Crafting, Singing, Dancing, Makeup-ing, and Couch Potato-ing... you name it, I've studied or done it! Now, what I know is- I am definitely not an expert at any one of them... but with this blog I want to show you my skills and how I plan on mastering them.

That brings me to makeup... I LOVE IT!!! I am not what you'd call a "girly-girl"... but when it comes to gook, glitter and shine all over my face, count me in.  I discovered my love for it fairly young, watching my mom put on an excessive amount of blush and eyeliner in the late 80's, early 90's... since then it's love! I've bought books and watched videos and found one of the best makeup "guru's" in Kandee Johnson... but it's not enough for me to play with my own face... I definitely want more... so occasionally I slather makeup on small children and force loved ones to wear false eyelashes and sparkle- What can I say? I'm a makeup artist at heart, or at the very least, a makeup amateur.

So for our first blog entry's climax and the beginning of my makeup portfolio, I present several pictures of "amateur" makeup I have done before today...

Enjoy & Imagine- Alexis
